Lounging in Palm Springs
Whenever I think of Palm Springs, I think of the Rat Pack…Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Frank Sinatra, Joey Bishop, and Peter Lawford. I think of Slim Aarons’ photos of pool parties, summer cocktails, relaxing with friends, floating in the pool, and letting my stress simply drift away! The majestic mountains in the distance urge me to unwind and enjoy life. And what better way to do just that than to relax on a lounge chair in a black and white awning stripe fabric with a pop of pink!
Named for the iconic city itself, Barclay Butera is launching another fabulous outdoor collection made of cast aluminum in Costa Rica. Palm Springs is a chic collection of contemporary outdoor with a nod to Mid-Century architecture which is a staple of the Palm Springs life. Inspired by his many homes and showhouses for Modernism Week, Butera designed this collection to enhance the backyards and pools of the lifestyles of those who live and vacation there. The collection comes in hundreds of different fabric combinations and over 19 finishes including gold and silver. Ooh la la!
